In trying to grow up, Beiber should buy a home, and then throw away those "mittens"

After getting owned by Ashton Kutcher in a bidding war on a Hollywood home, teen pop star, Justin Bieber must now fight a low appraisal on a different Southern California home he’s been seeking to buy. These real estate hurdles are teaching Beiber that adulthood is harder than it looks.

As this one time 16 year old teen heartthrob matures into a 18 year old legal adult (even has his own “baby-mama” scandal), Justin Beiber is now looking to become a homeowner.  And with Forbes having already estimated his net income, for 2011 alone, to be $53 million, this should by no means be a tall task…one would think.

However, as reported by TMZ, the luxury Calabasas, California home Beiber is eyeing has been appraised for $6 million less than its asking price. Such a home appraisal that doesn’t come near the fair market value is expected to significantly slow down Justin’s purchase, as additional negotiation and paperwork will be required before any agreement can be reached.

This most recent real estate headache comes just after Beiber was punk’d out of a gorgeous, modern $10.8 million home in the Hollywood Hills by Ashton Kutcher who had previously been renting it out for $50,000 a month. Apparently as soon as Ashton realized his 3-month rental property would soon be purchased by Beiber, he decided to buy the home first bought it. Ouch!

However, there is no need to feel too sorry for Beiber. With all the money he has, we at Blockhawk don’t see homelessness as a possible outcome. For if worse comes to worst, we’re sure Kim Kardashian has a bed he can crash in for the time being…. “Crashing with Kim”- next reality show?
